Affinity – Anyone over 50 years of age or who has owned a non-vauxhall for the past six months can gain a car via affinity. For Example an Astra gains a discount off list price of 13% but Marketing Programmes such as 0% finance are not available in conjunction.

Spot Sale – Northern Motors are in a fortunate position to purchase these unique vehicles direct from the factory. They do not qualify for any of the Marketing Programme special offers, however they come with substatial savings off the list price. They are available on a first come first served basis only and therefore availability cannot be guaranteed.

Pack Cars – Vauxhall run programme whereby if we commit to buying 30 cars of a particular model line they will offer us a discount in lieu of marketing programmes such as 0% finance. These cars are again exclusive to us, and represent excellent value. We can currently offer a Vectra Exclusiv for £11995 a saving of £2775 from list price, using this method.

Try and Buy – this programme allows us to offer a substantial discount off new car prices. We are the first registered keeper but allow you to use the car for the first 90 days after which we transfer the vehicle into your name as the second owner. We are unable to offer Hire Purchase on this method but can arrange a personal loan to cover any amount you need to borrow.

Internet Price –  We use Vauxhall’s own website to achieve a discount in lieu of some Marketing Programmes. For example you may get £1000 discount off a new Astra of your choice plus GM Points but no 0% Finance is available. Great News for Cash Buyers when Finance offers are less valuable.

Pre Registered – Vauxhall often target us and offer incentives for us to register cars at the end of a month. We will select some cars to register, they will have our name as the first registered keeper and have delivery mileage. They will normally be at least a further £500 cheaper than the equivalent discounted new car price as a result.

The GM Card – A Credit Card that allows you to earn money off a new Vauxhall. Every £1000 you spend gets £30 off your next car. There are model line Maximum’s such as Astra £1250. When you open an account and use it for the first time you get £175 fast start bonus, a very easy way to save some money for the sake of filling out a form. The vehicle owner and the cardholder have to be in the same name and it only applies to Spot Sale, Pack Cars, Partners and Affinity. The Credit Card rates are good too!!
